Brief

Rich Media - is a term to define singularly or in combination a range of technologies, including but not limited to sound, video, flash and/or other emergent technologies within a context or an environment, web, virtual or physical space.

For this project I must give in at hand in the following: 

AO1– Present a multimedia product in a format that is appropriate to your communication objectives. 
AO2 – Compile a blog that demonstrates the development of your project – Submit the url clearly.

As requested this is the start of my Blog which I will be updating regularly with my Research findings, idea generation and the development of the project. With the tutors authority Robyn and I have decided to work in partnership on this project, combining our research and ideas to create the final outcome.

The options we have to choose from as a starting point are:

• Create a set of interactive instructions using photography or video with an appropriate
  multimedia software.
• Produce a piece of interactive media that shows one journey from different/varying viewpoints. 
• Create a visual timeline from a personal interpretation of history and present using sound, photography, video or an appropriate motion graphics. 

As Robyn and I are working in a pair, it rules out the third option of the personal history unless we both produced one each however we both prefer the idea of an instructional piece.

  

While having the brief explained the class had a small discussion on the different topics, here are some of the ideas;

1. interactive instructions: food/drink, board game, building a rocket, navigating a building;
2. a journey: for example walking a dog-have the normal view of the human as well as the view from the dog;
3. visual timeline: duration of project, series of portraits or a photo everyday at the same time.
